Arejano paint over comparison

I was lurking around my own deviations when i went back 3 years ago, almost 4. I saw how much i had gotten better through all this time comparing old to new and found something out.
Sometimes you are you best critic and you learn from your past experiences , good and bad.
Its good to take learning critiques from others and classes such as anatomy , tonal values, rendering and such but as long as you know the rules, you are allowed to break them. But learning them is quite hard. There is no rule stated in our code or anywhere in how to do art the "right way" since most anything can be taken out of context and be named as art. Your style shouldn't be the one you try to imitate, but the failed attempt to imitate something and how yours is completely different
That is keeping in mind the guides of observation and details and how you approach them that make you a different person/artist from the rest.
